Filip Mladenovic leaves Panathinaikos following Rafa Benitez's decision

Filip Mladenovic is officially leaving Panathinaikos after two and a half years at the club. The 34-year-old left-back was not included in coach Rafa Benitez's future plans. Reports indicate that the Spanish manager made it clear the player would not receive any more playing time regardless of squad depth. Consequently, Mladenovic has reached an agreement to terminate his contract early. He is now set to continue his career in Turkey with Fatih Karagumruk. The Serbian defender has reportedly agreed to all terms with the Turkish top-division side.
