Police issue arrest warrant for driver involved in hit-and-run incident in Larnaca

Police have identified a driver involved in a traffic incident on the highway between the Rizoelia and Kalo Chorio roundabouts in Larnaca last Wednesday. Following a minor traffic collision, a 65-year-old man approached the other vehicle to exchange details. As a police patrol arrived at the scene, the second driver attempted to flee. The 65-year-old tried to stop the car, was carried on the windshield for a distance, and eventually fell onto the road, sustaining minor injuries, bruises, and abrasions. Police spokesperson Vyron Vyronos confirmed that authorities have secured an arrest warrant for the suspect. The vehicle seen in circulating social media footage has been located.
