13-year-old hero in Australia: Swam for four hours and saved his family from certain death

In Western Australia, a family outing turned dangerous when strong winds and waves swept a mother and her three children far out to sea. Thirteen-year-old Austin Appleby swam for four hours in rough waters and then ran two kilometers to get help. He called emergency services, leading to a search and rescue operation. His family was found 14 kilometers from the shore and rescued. Austin was hospitalized, but the whole family survived.
