Fenerbahce and German clubs reportedly interested in Vangelis Pavlidis transfer
Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis, currently playing for Benfica, has become a subject of transfer speculation involving Fenerbahce and various Bundesliga clubs. Benfica acquired Pavlidis from AZ Alkmaar in 2024 for 18 million euros on a five-year contract that runs until 2029. The player has demonstrated high performance levels, scoring 30 goals in 57 matches in his first season and 29 goals in 51 matches during the current campaign. Although his official release clause is set at 100 million euros, reports suggest that Benfica would be willing to negotiate a transfer for approximately 50 million euros. Turkish media identifies Fenerbahce as a potential destination, while other reports highlight interest from German teams. The player currently holds the position of the second-highest scorer in the Portuguese league.
