PASYKAF presents the 5th Edition of the European Code Against Cancer (ECAC5)

The Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) presents the 5th Edition of the European Code Against Cancer (ECAC5) in Cyprus. This initiative, coordinated by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) with input from European experts, provides 14 evidence-based recommendations for cancer prevention. ECAC5 includes population-level recommendations for creating supportive environments and systems, alongside advice for individuals and families. The code covers lifestyle factors like tobacco use, diet, physical activity, alcohol consumption, sun exposure, and pollution, as well as vaccination and screening. It aims to empower citizens to make healthier choices and encourage effective prevention policies.
