Car explosion reported in Liopetri

Around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, an explosion occurred in a vehicle parked outside the residence of its 45-year-old owner in Liopetri, in the Famagusta district. The incident caused extensive damage to the front of the vehicle. Police units arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area to conduct an investigation. Forensic and police examinations were scheduled to take place throughout the morning to determine the exact cause of the blast. No injuries have been reported, and authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the event. The vehicle remained parked at the scene during the police security operation.
