Conclusion of the 2025-2026 youth football season in Cyprus

On May 9, 2026, the Cyprus Football Association held the Super Cup matches for youth categories U-14, U-15, U-16, and U-17 at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia. The events were dedicated to the protection and well-being of children in sports. Apollon secured victories against Omonia Aradippou in both the U-14 and U-15 categories with scores of 2-0 and 3-2 respectively. Pafos FC defeated Ethnikos Achnas 9-2 in the U-16 match. In the U-17 category, Ethnikos Achnas drew 1-1 with Aris and claimed the trophy after a 5-4 penalty shootout, becoming the first team from the Elite Division to win a Super Cup. Costas Sofroniou, a member of the CFA Board of Directors, presented the awards to the championship teams of the Top and Elite divisions for the 2025-2026 season. Regulations stipulated that if matches ended in a draw, the winners were determined directly by penalty kicks.
