Ecommbx basketball league finals commence between Aek Larnaca and Keravnos Strovolou

The finals of the 2025-26 ECOMMBX Basket League begin tonight at 19:30 at the Kition Athletic Center, featuring Petrolina AEK Larnaca and Keravnos Strovolou. This series marks a recurring rivalry, as the two teams have met in the finals every year since the 2016-17 season, excluding the 2019-20 period which was interrupted by the pandemic. Petrolina AEK, the current titleholder, reached the finals for the 13th consecutive time and the 14th time overall, securing home-court advantage. Keravnos, which replaced its head coach from Damalis to Kounas during the season, reaches the finals for the 21st time in its history. The team that wins three games will be declared the champion. The second game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th, at the Costas Papaellinas Stadium. The series will return to Larnaca for the following match on May 17th. AEK currently holds seven championship titles, while Keravnos has won nine.
