Stefano Sensi's release clause revealed

Italian journalist Matteo Moretto reported on May 7, 2026, that Anorthosis Famagusta midfielder Stefano Sensi has a 300,000 euro release clause in his contract. Sensi, who renewed his contract with the club in January until 2027, has recorded 8 goals and 6 assists in 26 appearances this season. The release clause is reportedly applicable to clubs outside of Cyprus. The former Inter Milan player joined the club to revive his career following an injury-plagued period. Anorthosis, currently competing in the second group of the championship, seeks a victory against Krasava ENY tonight to secure the top spot in the group and a 70,000 euro bonus from the Cyprus Football Association. Rafa Lopes is returning to training but his inclusion in the starting lineup remains uncertain.
