Representatives of Latin and Armenian religious groups elected

On May 7, 2026, the Election Commissioner for Religious Groups, Dr. Elikkos Ilias, officially declared the election of representatives for the Latin and Armenian communities in Cyprus. The declaration ceremony took place at the Ministry of Interior. Antonella Lydia Mantovani was confirmed as the representative for the Latin religious group. Vartkes Mahdessian was confirmed as the representative for the Armenian religious group. Both candidates were elected unopposed. The Election Commissioner read the official notifications and offered his congratulations to the newly elected members.
