Police arrest two suspects in burglary investigations across Cyprus
In Ayia Napa, a 28-year-old man was arrested after police identified him from CCTV footage linked to ten burglary and theft cases. During the arrest, authorities discovered his residence permit had expired. He remains in custody and is scheduled for a remand hearing at the Famagusta District Court. Separately, in Limassol, a 50-year-old man was arrested after being apprehended by a security guard on the roof of a building. Police found the man in possession of burglary tools and two hoods. The Limassol Minor Offences Department is currently investigating his case, and he is also expected to appear before a court for a detention order.
