Road maintenance and traffic closures announced in Aradippou and Limassol-Nicosia highway

Temporary traffic regulations are in effect from Thursday until Saturday, May 9, at the Klima roundabout and Australia Avenue in Aradippou due to asphalt repairs. The Aradippou Municipality stated that closures are active from 07:00 to 16:00, with traffic rerouted through Estias, Doureios Ippos, and Chiou streets, while the Klima roundabout and the entrance to Omirou street are closed. Separately, the Limassol District Engineer's Office announced maintenance on the Nicosia-Limassol (A1) motorway scheduled from May 11 to May 14, 2026. Works will occur nightly between 21:00 and 05:30, involving the closure of both lanes over a three-kilometer stretch in one direction at a time. During these periods, traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the highway for two-way flow. Authorities in both regions advise drivers to follow temporary road signage and police instructions to ensure safety and minimize traffic disruption.
