Cypriot delegation to participate in the Special Olympics Panhellenic Games

The Cypriot Special Olympics delegation is scheduled to depart on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 08:00 to attend the Panhellenic Special Olympics Games. The event will take place in Loutraki from May 9 to May 12, 2026, with over 450 athletes expected to compete. The Cypriot team consists of 16 athletes, 6 coaches or companions, and one delegation leader. Athletes will compete in swimming, bocce, and basketball. The opening ceremony is set for Saturday, May 9, at 19:00 at the Pantelis Zervos Municipal Theater. National Director Eleni Rossidou will represent the federation at the ceremony. This mission aims to showcase athletic efforts and social inclusion through sports participation.
