American strikes against ISIS in Syria

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported conducting five strikes against ISIS in Syria between January 27th and February 2nd. These strikes included the destruction of a weapons storage facility with 50 precision rounds. CENTCOM's commander emphasized the commitment to preventing ISIS resurgence in Syria. These operations are in response to a December 13th ambush in Palmyra where two American soldiers and an interpreter were killed. The strikes are part of ongoing U.S. and allied operations against ISIS in Syria.
