AEK owner Makis Angelopoulos traveled to Badalona to support the team, which is accompanied by over 700 traveling fans. The winner of this match will face either Rytas Vilnius or Tenerife in the final on Saturday, May 9. Unicaja Malaga enters the game as a favorite, boasting a ten-game winning streak in the competition and aiming for their third consecutive final appearance. Conversely, AEK is seeking a victory to potentially reach their 100th win in the BCL. The team, coached by Dragan Sakota, enters the tournament with James Nunnally back in the rotation following his recovery from a recent injury.
