Limassol tourism development meeting held by ETAP and industry officials
On Wednesday, May 6, the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP Limassol) organized a working meeting with hotel managers, the President of the Limassol Hoteliers Association, Christos Tsanos, and the Mayor of Limassol, Yiannis Armeftis. The participants discussed challenges and opportunities within the tourism sector and emphasized the necessity of stronger cooperation among stakeholders. The group agreed to maintain a regular dialogue and implement specific initiatives to enhance Limassol's tourist product. Key proposals included improving the visitor experience, upgrading services, and developing a unified promotional strategy. Discussions also covered attracting new markets, extending the tourist season, and promoting niche sectors such as cultural, wine and culinary, sports, and conference tourism. Furthermore, the meeting addressed the use of digital tools to improve Limassol’s international image.
