Aydin Cavusoglu critically injured in Alanya
On Tuesday evening, 52-year-old businessman Aydin Cavusoglu, brother of former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Alanyaspor President Hasan Cavusoglu, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in his office. The incident occurred at a fuel station owned by the businessman in Alanya, Antalya province. Following the report of a single gunshot, emergency services transported him to a hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. He is currently being treated in the intensive care unit in critical condition. Antalya Governor Hulusi Sahin visited the hospital to assess the situation. Turkish police have cordoned off the office and surrounding area to conduct forensic investigations. Authorities are currently investigating all possibilities, including both accident and potential assault, as no official cause has been determined. Mevlut Cavusoglu, who was abroad, has reportedly traveled back to the region.
