Active Citizens and United Cypriot Hunters Movement submits parliamentary nominations
On Wednesday, the Active Citizens – United Cypriot Hunters Movement – Refugee Action formally submitted its candidate list for the parliamentary elections scheduled for May 24, 2026. The submission took place at the Famagusta District Administration offices in Paralimni. Nicolas Prodromou, the president of the party, stated that the organization is fielding a full ticket of 55 candidates across Cyprus. This follows the party's 2021 campaign, where they narrowly missed gaining parliamentary representation with 36 candidates. Prodromou emphasized that the list consists of citizens from non-political backgrounds, whom he described as everyday workers. The party's campaign slogan focuses on prioritizing the homeland and its people. Among the candidates listed for the Famagusta district are Andreas Antoniou and Vrachimis.
