SocialTech Lab appointed as EIT Food national representative for Cyprus

The non-profit organization SocialTech Lab has been designated as the National Representative of EIT Food for Cyprus. EIT Food, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, is a major EU initiative focused on agrifood innovation. In this new capacity, SocialTech Lab will serve as a hub connecting local startups, researchers, and industry stakeholders with European funding, training programs, and collaboration opportunities. The organization is tasked with providing practical assistance for preparing competitive applications and identifying relevant initiatives within the EU framework. This appointment aims to help local stakeholders navigate challenges such as climate change, slow digital transformation, and limited market access. By facilitating connections, the lab seeks to enable Cypriot innovators to scale their solutions and expand into the broader European market.
