CFA Society Cyprus to launch inaugural annual online career event

CFA Society Cyprus has announced the establishment of the Alliance for Financial Education in Cyprus, an initiative led by Society president Constantinos Kourouyiannis. The alliance intends to connect academic institutions, the investment sector, and professional bodies to improve financial education standards and practical industry readiness. A central component of this initiative is the first annual online career event scheduled for May 14, 2026, at 17:00. The virtual event aims to facilitate connections between students, CFA candidates, and young professionals with major employers in the financial sector. Attendees will receive information regarding the CFA Programme, career pathways in finance, and industry requirements. The initiative also incorporates guest lectures, mentorship programmes, and participation in global CFA Institute projects to enhance students' technical skills and ethical awareness. By creating this platform, the organization seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical university training and the professional demands of the global market.
