Legislative election preparations in Paphos district
The Paphos district will host legislative elections with a total of 47,384 registered voters. Menelaos Vasiliou, a senior official at the Ministry of Interior, confirmed that 1,019 new applications were processed for the electoral roll between January 3, 2026, and April 2, 2026. There are no special procedures for first-time voters, who are subject to the same regulations as all other citizens. The district will operate 135 polling stations. The largest stations are the 5th Primary School of Paphos (Center C) and Pegeia Primary School (Center B), each with 642 voters, followed by Polemi Regional Primary School (Center A) with 638 voters. The smallest stations are located in Miliou and the Kinousa Primary School (Center A), both serving 67 voters. The distribution of polling stations is based on residential address and facility availability to ensure accessibility for voters.
