DIPA leader Marios Karoyian addresses regional meeting in Astromeritis
During a regional meeting in Western Nicosia and Astromeritis, DIPA party leader Marios Karoyian expressed confidence that his party would secure parliamentary representation in the upcoming elections. The event was attended by the Minister of Labor, Marinos Mousiouttas, along with various party officials and members. Karoyian stated that there is a significant segment of "hidden voters" who support the party but are not captured by current opinion polls. He highlighted the strength and competitiveness of the DIPA candidate lists for the next parliamentary term. Additionally, the party leader addressed concerns regarding a perceived crisis of values and ethics within the political system. He criticized other political forces for focusing on future elections in 2028 rather than resolving current social and economic problems. Finally, Karoyian expressed support for the government’s ongoing pension reforms and developments concerning the Social Insurance Fund.
