Her husband, Kostas Bakoyannis, announced this on social media, sharing a photo from her early days in intensive care. He expressed gratitude for the support received during her illness. Kosioni was hospitalized on January 24th after experiencing breathing difficulties. Bakoyannis also urged people to get vaccinated.
