Fifth trilateral summit between Cyprus, Greece and Jordan held in Amman
President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and King Abdullah II of Jordan are meeting in Amman for the fifth trilateral summit. The agenda focuses on strengthening bilateral and trilateral relations, regional coordination, and current geopolitical developments in the Middle East. President Christodoulides is also scheduled to hold separate bilateral meetings with King Abdullah II and the Crown Prince of Jordan. The leaders will review the implementation of previous agreements and discuss the ongoing cooperation between the European Union and Jordan. Officials emphasize that this meeting aims to deepen relations with Jordan, which is viewed as a pillar of stability in the region. The summit follows a recent informal gathering of regional leaders held in Cyprus. The discussions are intended to promote de-escalation and long-term peace in the broader region.
