February 5th is the feast day of Saint Agatha, a martyr from Sicily who lived during the reign of Emperor Decius. Agatha, known for her beauty, virtue, and faith, inherited a large fortune which she used for charitable purposes. She refused to marry the prefect Quintianus and was subjected to torture for her Christian beliefs, ultimately dying in prison in 251 AD. Today is also World Safer Internet Day.
