CEV Beach Volley Nations Cup to be held in Protaras

The CEV Beach Volley Nations Cup is scheduled to take place on May 9-10, 2026, at Fig Tree Bay in Protaras, Cyprus. The tournament will feature national teams from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Poland, and Israel. Bulgaria will be represented by two pairs: Dimitar Mehandzhiyski with Dimitar Kalchev, and Martin Yochev with Denislav Dimitrov. Cyprus will field two teams composed of Anninos-Alexios Chrysostomou with Alexis Savvides, and Marios Strougarevich with Stamatis Savvides. Notable participants include Chrysostomou and Savvides, who secured 4th place at the U20 European Championship in Prague. Athletes have backgrounds in both indoor volleyball and beach volleyball, with various players competing in major national leagues. The event is part of the official CEV international competition calendar.
