Nicosia Ochi market to relocate temporarily for seven months

The Nicosia municipality announced that the Ochi market will be temporarily relocated starting Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The move is necessary due to construction works scheduled in the area. The market will shift from its current location at the Constanzo bastion to the car park near the Podocataro bastion, situated east of the old Olympiakos Nicosia football stadium. The new location will host the market every Wednesday and Saturday. This arrangement is expected to last for approximately seven months. The municipal authorities have issued an apology for any inconvenience the relocation may cause. They also expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation and understanding during this period.
