Authorities advance investigation into fabricated messages by the individual known as Sandy

Police investigations regarding the case of an individual known as Sandy have entered a final stage following an extensive deposition last Friday. The 45-year-old woman admitted to investigators that she personally fabricated the controversial messages using a mobile application and information gathered from the internet. She reportedly confessed to gathering names from various sources and composing fictional scenarios which she then forwarded to lawyer Nikos Kliridis. Investigators believe Kliridis was unaware that the messages were fabricated. The investigation was initiated after claims made by Makarios Drousiotis on social media on March 30. Authorities are currently awaiting technical analysis reports from Europol and profile assessments from the FBI to conclude the case. During her testimony, the woman was supported by a psychologist. Officials maintain that these findings corroborate the theory of mythomania regarding the origins of the messages.
