Informal Meeting of Environment Ministers: Climate and water resilience at the center

An informal meeting of EU environment ministers will be held in Nicosia on February 5th and 6th as part of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. Discussions will focus on aligning European climate and water resilience policies, examining relevant legislation and funding tools. Ministers will also discuss strengthening the EU's effectiveness in global climate processes and improving internal coordination. Furthermore, the meeting will address key challenges related to the circular economy, including plastic recycling and market conditions for recycled materials.
