Cyprus tourism sector achieves record figures in 2025
In 2025, Cyprus reported record tourism growth, with tourist arrivals reaching 4,534,073, a 12.2% increase from 2024. Total traveler arrivals rose by 13% to 7,102,208, while departures reached 7,076,521, an increase of 12.8%. Air travel accounted for 96.8% of all passenger movement. The United Kingdom remained the primary market at 31.8%, followed by Israel (13%), Poland (8.2%), Germany (6.1%), Greece (3.9%), and Sweden (3.4%). Tourism revenue reached 3,696.1 million euros, up 15.2% from 3,209.4 million euros the previous year. The average per capita expenditure was 815.16 euros, representing a 2.6% increase. Cypriot residents also increased their international travel, with 1,963,593 trips recorded in 2025 compared to 1,754,937 in 2024.
