Police investigate brawl outside Nicosia bar

In the early hours of Sunday, May 3, a fight between two groups of individuals took place outside a pub located at the intersection of Palaion Patron Germanou and Rigainis streets in Nicosia. Police received reports of the incident at approximately 2:30 a.m. but found no one present upon their arrival, as the participants had fled the scene. Although no formal complaints have been filed with the authorities, reports indicate the conflict began inside the establishment before moving outside. A parked vehicle belonging to a Greek-Cypriot resident sustained damage during the incident, and the owner is expected to provide a formal statement. Media outlets obtained video footage showing one individual striking another who was lying on the ground. The police are currently conducting an investigation and searching for the suspects involved. No arrests have been made at this time.
