Registration for first grade students in secondary education begins.

Student registration and transfers for the first grade of public Gymnasiums, Lyceums, and Technical Schools for the 2026-2027 school year will occur in February and March. Electronic applications for registration will be accepted during specific periods in February for Gymnasiums and Lyceums/TESEK. Transfer requests will be processed in March for Gymnasiums and then Lyceums/TESEK. The Ministry of Education is implementing the eDEA electronic system to streamline these processes, requiring parents/guardians to create accounts on CY Login and profiles on eDEA. Only first-grade students need to register; upper-grade students will not submit applications.
