Road construction works and traffic diversions in Livadia, Larnaca

The Municipality of Larnaca has announced the commencement of the second phase of the urban renewal project on part of Makariou Avenue in Livadia. The construction works are expected to last approximately eleven months. Due to the project, temporary traffic diversions have been implemented to ensure road safety. Vehicles traveling toward Kellia or the highway are diverted via Byzantiou Street, Aiolou Street, and Kalamon Street before returning to Makariou Avenue. For traffic heading toward the center of Livadia or Larnaca, the route follows Ezekia Papaioannou Street, Armenia Street, Konstantinou Kavafi Street, and Grigori Afxentiou Street. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and comply with temporary road signage. The municipality has apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused by these operations.
