Sunday events in Limassol affected by poor weather

Two scheduled public events in Limassol were cancelled on Sunday due to adverse weather conditions. The 'In the Footsteps of the Lanitio' event, organized by the Lanitio School Alumni Association, and the 'Love without Limits – Adopt a Friend' animal welfare event, organized by the Limassol Municipality, have been called off. Organizers of the Lanitio event indicated that a new date for the activity will be announced in the future. The animal adoption event was originally scheduled to take place at the Limassol Public Garden between 15:00 and 19:00. Meanwhile, the Akrotiri Spring Festival, organized by the Akrotiri Environmental Education Centre and the Kourion Municipality, is proceeding with a limited schedule. Specifically, the planned bicycle ride was cancelled, but indoor activities at the centre are continuing as originally intended. These changes occur as a yellow weather warning for strong thunderstorms remains in effect for the region.
