Two men executed in Iran for espionage
On Saturday, Iranian authorities executed two men, identified as Yaghoub Karibpour and Naser Bakarzadeh, by hanging. Both individuals were convicted of espionage on behalf of Israel and its intelligence agency, Mossad. According to judicial authorities, Karibpour was found guilty of transmitting sensitive information to a Mossad officer. Bakarzadeh was accused of gathering intelligence on government and religious figures, as well as key infrastructure. Specific reports indicate that intelligence gathering occurred near the Natanz nuclear facility located in the central Isfahan province. The judicial process concluded with the death sentences being carried out following these convictions. The state media confirmed the executions, citing involvement in activities against national security.
