Four ambulances damaged in arson attack at Geroskipou clinic

Around 1:00 am on Sunday, a fire broke out at the Royal Artemis Medical Center in Geroskipou, destroying four parked ambulances. Police and fire authorities confirmed that the blaze was set maliciously using flammable materials. While most reports indicate that all four vehicles were significantly damaged, some sources specify that three suffered extensive damage to their front sections, while the fourth sustained minor damage. This incident is currently being investigated as the third attack against the clinic owner in recent days. Previous attacks on the owner's residence in Agia Marinouda include an attempted arson on April 29, 2026, and a subsequent hand grenade attack. A 59-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the incidents at the residence. Authorities are exploring a potential link between all three criminal acts. No injuries were reported in the ambulance fire, and investigators are currently analyzing evidence collected from the scene.
