Cypriot brewing industry event held in Brussels

The "Taste of Cyprus" event took place in Brussels, organized by the Brewers of Europe and the Cyprus Brewers Association in collaboration with MEP Michalis Hatzipantelas. The gathering occurred in the context of Cyprus holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU. Approximately 200 participants attended, including EU Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans Costas Kadis and representative Cristiana Tzika. The event focused on showcasing the quality and Mediterranean identity of Cypriot beer products. Charalambos Panagiotou, CEO of KEO, and Pavlos Photiades, CEO of the Photos Photiades Group, delivered presentations highlighting the sector's contribution to the economy and employment. Discussions also emphasized the industry's commitment to sustainability and environmental practices. The initiative aimed to promote dialogue and social cohesion through the brewing sector.
