Lavrov in Athens: They armed Ukraine, they don't think about the Greek civilians
Sergey Lavrov criticized Greece for its support of Ukraine during the four-year conflict with Russia. He stated that Greece halted cooperation with Russia after the war began, dismantling political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties. Lavrov also accused Athens of sending weapons to Ukraine used against civilians in Donbas, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Crimea, despite the presence of a large Greek diaspora in those regions. The Russian embassy in Greece published Lavrov's statements, while a Greek official responded that Greece is acting in line with other European nations in supporting the defending party.
