Ambulance gets stuck on the pitch during a Romanian football match
During a Romanian Liga II football match between FC Voluntari and FC Bihor, a player suffered a severe injury requiring immediate medical attention. The athlete reportedly sustained a double fracture of the tibia and fibula. An ambulance entered the pitch to transport the injured player to the hospital. Due to heavy rainfall, the vehicle became stuck in the soft, wet grass of the pitch. Players from both competing teams intervened to assist the medical staff. They collectively pushed the ambulance to help it regain traction and exit the field. The player was subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment.
