IDF destroys Hezbollah tunnel in southern Lebanon
On Thursday morning, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) units, including the 226th Special Operations Brigade and the Yahalom unit under the 146th Division, destroyed a Hezbollah tunnel in the Ras Bada region of southern Lebanon. The structure exceeded 140 meters in length and was neutralized using more than 24 tons of explosives. According to official IDF statements, the tunnel contained residential rooms, operational shafts, and a cache of weapons. The military reported that the facility was being used by Hezbollah for operational planning. Additionally, over the preceding 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force conducted targeted strikes against Hezbollah militants and infrastructure under the guidance of the division's forces.
