Police appeal for three missing teenagers in Cyprus

Cypriot authorities have released information regarding the disappearances of three teenagers from their residences in Nicosia and Paphos. Nezar Aljohmani, a 17-year-old from Syria, has been missing from Nicosia since April 28, 2026; he is described as thin, 1.70m tall, with dark skin, short black hair, and brown eyes. Emiliyan Yordanov, a 16-year-old from Bulgaria, has been missing from Nicosia since May 2, 2026; he is described as medium-built, 1.70m tall, with short black hair. Additionally, 15-year-old Mahmood Alhammoud from Syria has been missing from his residence in Paphos since the afternoon of April 30, 2026; he is described as being of normal build, 1.50m tall, with short brown hair. The police are urging anyone with information to contact the Nicosia CID at 22-802222, the Paphos CID at 26-806021, their local police station, or the Citizen Line at 1460. These cases are being handled as missing persons reports to ensure their safe return.
