Three arrested in Larnaca following drug raid and apartment jump

On the previous day, officers from the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) and the Aliens and Immigration Unit (YDAP) raided an apartment in Larnaca to execute a search and arrest warrant against a 34-year-old man. Upon police arrival, four individuals were found inside. A 34-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman attempted to evade authorities by jumping from a second-floor window, resulting in injuries. The man suffered external abrasions, while the woman sustained an open arm fracture, both requiring hospitalization at Larnaca General Hospital. Both individuals were found to be residing illegally in the Republic of Cyprus. Following the search, police seized approximately 946 grams of plant material, a large number of pills, 100 small bottles of an unknown substance, seven mobile phones, and 815 euros in cash. Three of the four individuals were subsequently arrested under judicial warrants.
