Three arrested after police drug search in Larnaca apartment

On Thursday night in Larnaca, police officers searched an apartment while investigating a drug-related case. Upon the arrival of authorities, a 34-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman jumped from a second-floor window, sustaining injuries that required hospitalization. Medical reports indicated the man suffered external injuries while the woman sustained a fractured arm. Investigators discovered both individuals were residing in Cyprus without valid documentation. Inside the flat, police seized approximately 946 grams of dried plant matter suspected to be cannabis, a large quantity of various pills, 100 bottles containing an unknown substance, seven mobile phones, and 815 euros in cash. Two other 34-year-old men were present in the apartment, one of whom was arrested, while the other was released. The three detainees face court proceedings regarding their remand, as the injured suspects remain under medical supervision.
