Classical music concert at the Ipsonas Municipal Theater

The Municipality of Kourion is hosting a classical music concert titled 'Sounds of Spring' on May 3, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Ipsonas Municipal Theater and is part of the 'Kourion Classical Music Days' festival. The program features the University of Cyprus Music Academy, with the String Ensemble performing works by J. Brahms, E. Grieg, and B. Bartók. Specific pieces include Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5, Grieg's String Quartet No. 1 in G minor, and Bartók's Romanian Dances. The string quartet consists of Andreas Ioannou, Chloe Erefich, Vasilios Klouvatos, and Athina Klouvatos, under the instruction of Prof. Nicolas Efthymiou. The concert also features pianist Dr. Christina Koulapi and is directed by Petros Stylianou. Admission to the event is free to the public.
