Neapolis University Pafos improvements in 2026 SCImago rankings

Neapolis University Pafos has announced its results in the 2026 SCImago Institutions Rankings. The institution recorded an overall improvement of 1,082 places during 2025. In the research category, which accounts for 50% of the total evaluation score, the university advanced by 301 positions. Within Cyprus, the university now holds the third position in the innovation category. Rector Professor Pantelis Sklias stated that these results reflect the institution's 15-year development strategy and its focus on research and international academic cooperation. The university, which was founded 15 years ago, also highlighted its participation in the European University Alliance as a significant step in its international presence. These performance metrics reflect the volume, impact, and quality of the university's academic and research output.
