Pafos Triathlon 2026 takes place on May 3rd

The Pafos Triathlon 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at the Municipal Baths area in Kato Paphos. The event, which serves as the Cyprus Triathlon Championship, features approximately 240 athletes from Cyprus and 15 other countries competing in individual and relay categories. Organizers Activate Cyprus and the Paphos Municipality hold the event under the auspices of the Cyprus Triathlon Federation. The competition includes two main categories: the Olympic distance (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run) starting at 07:50, and the Sprint category (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) starting at 07:00. Traffic regulations will be in effect from 06:30 to 11:30 AM, with closures on Poseidonos Avenue, Melina Merkouri Street, and sections of Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes via the northern side of Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and the Rikkos Beach area. Sponsors and supporters include the Paphos Tourism Board and ERB Asfalistiki.
