Sotiris Christou outlines platform for the Seekou Pano movement ahead of 2026 elections
Sotiris Christou, president of the newly established political movement Seekou Pano, has outlined the party's platform ahead of the May 2026 parliamentary elections in the Republic of Cyprus. The movement, founded by businessman Christoforos Tornaritis and officially registered as a political party, describes itself as an anti-establishment entity. Christou currently serves as the temporary leader until internal party elections are held. The party's core agenda focuses on four pillars: fighting corruption through institutional reform and the removal of parliamentary immunity, promoting a socially fair economy, re-evaluating the Cyprus problem resolution models, and engaging young voters. Christou stated that the party intends to mandate the public disclosure of all state contracts if elected to parliament. He characterizes his political philosophy with the slogan that citizens are the owners, not customers, of the state.
