UCLan Cyprus and PANTON CHARA sign memorandum of understanding

On March 26, 2026, the University of UCLan Cyprus and the non-profit organisation PANTON CHARA held an official ceremony at the university's Larnaca campus to formalise a partnership. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had been previously signed online on January 21, 2026. The collaboration focuses on applied psychology, specifically supporting the MSc Forensic Psychology programme. It aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical practice by providing students with internship and research opportunities. A key objective of the initiative is to improve the management and understanding of adolescent delinquent behaviour. PANTON CHARA, an organisation supported by the Metropolis of Limassol, provides interdisciplinary mental health services to teenagers in child protection facilities. The agreement was signed by Dr. Maria Kontouli, representing PANTON CHARA, and a representative from the university.
