Police in Larnaca investigate abduction of 22-year-old Indian national

Larnaca police are investigating the abduction of a 22-year-old Indian national that occurred between April 28 and April 29, 2026. Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a 20-year-old fellow Indian national, identified as Ashish Malik, in connection with the case. According to police reports, a witness observed several individuals forcing a man into a vehicle around midnight on Tuesday. Further investigations revealed that a group of people allegedly entered an apartment, attacked the occupants, and abducted the victim. The charges currently under investigation include abduction and common assault. The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is seeking information from the public to help locate the suspect.
