Omonia reports significant financial recovery for 2025
The Cyprus Football Association released the 2025 financial statements for Omonia, reflecting a substantial improvement in the club's fiscal performance. Total revenue rose to approximately €20.6 million from €16.7 million in 2024. The club transitioned from a loss of over €800,000 in 2024 to a net profit of nearly €4.9 million in 2025. Total liabilities were reduced from €29.9 million in 2024 to €17.6 million, marking a debt reduction of over €12 million. Operational expenses for the football department decreased to €12.6 million compared to €13.1 million in the previous year. Administrative expenses were also significantly lowered to approximately €1.67 million. While agent fees saw a marginal increase to €278,230, the overall financial restructuring successfully lowered accumulated losses to €14.3 million. These results indicate improved cost control and higher income streams for the organization.
